That’s why our program seeks to train and teach volunteers as they grow in understanding of the realities of generational poverty. GET STARTED
Volunteering at Shepherd
After you fill out the initial interest form, our volunteer team will call you to find out more about your interests and background. You’ll come to Shepherd for a tour and brief training, then you’ll observe some of our programs in action. Once we’ve found a good fit for your schedule, skills, and passion, we’ll get some more information from you so we can do a quick background check. For most people and groups, the entire process only takes a few days from start to service.
