When the Shepherd Academy began in 2000, we served 12 three- and four-year-olds. Today, we serve over 150 children in Pre-School through fifth grade. The Shepherd Academy provides our families a healthy alternative to area public schools, offering small class sizes, personalized instruction, and the ability to better meet each child’s academic needs. Additionally, each child receives a healthy breakfast and lunch – something many children in our area cannot count on at home.
Our school seeks to provide a loving and supportive educational environment where each child’s physical, emotional, academic, and spiritual needs are nurtured. We use a variety of faith-based curriculums to help ensure that our students learn to read and build a solid foundation for a successful academic career.
The Shepherd Academy includes:
- Pre-School Academy: 3- and 4-year-olds
- Academy (elementary): Kindergarten through fifth grade
