Intern—Youth Job Preparedness Program (Middle School)

Program Description
This program for middle school students focuses on:

Career research
Local business field trips
Community service
Financial training
Tutoring
College exploration
Spiritual development
Recreational activities (swimming, golf, hiking, and camping)

Camp participants also receive: lunch, afternoon snacks, back-to-school clothes, shoes, and school supplies.

Typical Weekly Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday approximately 9:00 AM-4:30 PM; Wednesdays 10:00 AM-7:30 PM (including Church). Times may vary.

Intern Responsibilities:

Attend training during the first week and help with program set up..
Prepare and teach Wednesday night Bible studies.
Co-lead the group on Tuesday afternoons and Fridays.
Assist the Supervisor during overnight camping trips.
Assist the Supervisor on all field trips
Help facilitate and assist the Supervisor with all activities.
Chaperone on one-week off-site educational and recreational trip.
Prepare the students for the one-week educational and recreational trip.
