Fellowship
Picture a world with one of the highest concentrations of abandoned homes in the United States, where eight out of every ten children get two meals a day only if they’re in school, where less than 30% of students graduate from high school and more than 50% of adults are illiterate. This world is less than two miles from downtown Indianapolis. This is our world at Shepherd Community Center.
The Annual Missionary Internship with Shepherd Community Center is designed to offer young, emerging leaders a dynamic, hands-on ministry experience in the heart of the city. Nurture and development will be fostered in a community atmosphere with other interns. The year will begin with the incredible ‘spiritual greenhouse’ environment of our college summer project with thirty students. This is a full partnership with Campus Crusade. Please use the online application at the Campus Crusade web tool. You will need to click on the green "Apply" button at the top of the page. The end of the summer will mark a short break from the schedule and then we start into the regular school-year calendar for our four year-long missionary interns.
