Q: What kinds of internships are available?
A: Two Options: One, We have a summer intern project available for twenty-four college students. These are with the Elementary Day Camp, Middle School Youth Job preparedness, and the High School Youth Job Preparedness Program.
Two, We have a year-long internship for four students starting with our summer project.
Q: How do I apply?
A: Our internship application is available online through our partnership with Campus Crusade.

Q: Do interns work full-time or part-time?
A: All summer internships are full-time. Hours vary depending upon the role
Q: Is this a paid internship?
A: Yes. You will be paid a $300/ month stipend for ten weeks.
Q: Is food provided?
A: Yes. You will be able to make use of the kitchen and the food here.
Q: Is church attendance required?
A: Yes. We ask that you attend Shepherd or another local church.
Q: Are in-person interviews required?
A: Once we have received your application we will schedule an in-person or phone interview. We ask you to schedule a personal interview if you are within a reasonable drive from Indianapolis.
Q: Is housing provided?
A: Yes, we provide and require our interns to be housed here for our summer intern project.
Q: Can I also have a part time job in addition to the internship?
A: No, you will not have time for an additional job in the summer.
Q: Will I be able to take time off?
A: The schedule for the summer is fully packed with the student programs, discipleship and training, as well as some great social events planned in the city. We ask that interns not leave the greater community where we serve for the summer project. Any extenuating circumstances can be discussed with staff at the time of the interview.
