Help us break the cycle of poverty on the near east side of Indianapolis. All of the items listed in the Shepherd Store are things that we need to run the programs that our students and neighbors benefit from. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

What is summer without fun at the pool? We take the kids swimming once a week so they can have fun in the sun and exercise too!

College Visit Meals
Quantity: 23
Cost: $5
The high school group goes on 10 college visits during the summer. While on the road they need to stop and eat.
Art Supplies
Quantity: 3
Cost: $50
The elementary kids do art projects throughout the summer and certain supplies are needed for the projects scheduled. Michael's Gift Cards would allow us to get the items we need.
First Aid Kits
Quantity: 5-10
Cost: $15
Unfortunately, bumps and bruises are a reality in the summer. First Aid Kits allow us to be prepared.
Summer Supplies
Quantity: At least 10
Cost: $50
Summer Supplies such as sunscreen, water bottles, chapstick, and swim suits,are needed for students who cannot afford them. Items vary per child, so Wal-Mart or Target gift certificates are very helpful.
Shepherd Community Center operates within ECFA guidelines; should we get in-kind donations of item(s) listed here we will move overages into an area of need. We feel this is the best stewardship of the blessings God provides. You will be notified by Shepherd Community if your gift falls into this category.
